As our music video is narrative we chose not to include much lip synching. However, on the lyric 'look me in the eye when I'm talking to you' we agreed that it would be the perfect opportunity to link the lyrics and the visuals. This lign occurs after Janadhi joins the army so we thought we could have a sergeant shouting the words.
We had the actor on hand (Ertan) but no uniform, so I took some tester shots just to get an idea of the framing. For this scene we need two separate clips lasting 3 seconds each. The first will be a mid shot from front view, the second will be an over- the- shoulder shot.
I think it looks really effective, we just have to pick a time to reshoot now. Hopefully we'll get another day with the sun out!
