Costume change and Final Shot

Primrose Hill would also be the setting for our final shot as we needed a vast open space, and an incredibly view, fortunately it had both. The final few shots would show Janadhi, in full army came, reaching the top of a hill. It is going to be a very cheesy emotional few seconds in the music video. 

So once we'd finished the agility training shots, Janadhi switched outfits in full view of the public. We're really lucky that Jan kept her cadet uniform as it adds to the mise- en- scene of our video, without the correct costume we would have little chance of it looking professional. 

Here are the final two stills from the music video. We placed an emphasis on Janadhi's face in the top shot so altered the depth of field, making the background more blurred. Her expression shows the theme behind our music video which is 'empowerment'. We also wanted to capture this idea in her body language, so we positioned Janadhi with her hands on her hips in a powerful pose.  The natural light was a huge help as it emphasised the uniform, brightening the green of the camp and making it a lot more significant in the final shots.
