As well as still shots, we also wanted some tracking shots in our music video, this would add to the lively feel of it. However, moving shots are pretty complicated when you don't have the specialist equipment. Which is where the skateboard came in. This vintage piece of tech was taken all the way to Primrose Hill in order to capture Janadhi running along a wooden beam. We placed the camera on the board, set motion stabilisation and then angled it accordingly. Holly was the only one of us with a steady hand so she pushed the camera back and forth tracking Janadhi's running.
After about five takes we watched them back. I really like the angle and lighting and framing of them, but they are undoubtedly shaky, hopefully we can use fix this using the advanced stabilisation option on iMovie.
