The time lapse of the sunrise lasted 7 minutes in real time. I love this shot as it goes through a range of colours, starting as a deep purple and then changing to pink and orange. When sped up in iMovie, the transitions of the colours are clearly visible and even more vibrant as I altered the 'contrast'.
The time lapse needs to fit the opening instrumental which is only 4.5 seconds in length. In order to fit this precise time slot, the speed of the clip had to be dramatically altered, played at 20x its original speed, 2000% faster.
We later plan to place the titles on top of this clip.
