I know that I want to include the landscape shot of Primrose Hill into my digipak design, it will give the band some context and it's also an image I can spread across the entire back panel.
In order to incorporate the 'simplistic' indie convention, I will hand draw the image and it will be a single line drawing rather than a noisy, multi coloured photographed. Above is an illustration by Abigail Daker I found while researching. I love the intricate details in the London skyline, hopefully I can recreate something similar.
Below are another two indie bands that incorporate hand drawn artwork into their album art. I think it's important to keep the font and other features minimalistic; ensuring the drawings and symbolisms are the focus.
